WINE ESCAPE

If you like to combine cultural and gastronomic experiences, then this is the escape for you! Stay at Hostal Empúries to enjoy the sea and our cuisine, and visit the La Vinyeta* winery, a vineyard and olive farm with integrated production that reworks tradition and respects the environment and our surroundings. Open your senses to a wild landscape between the Pyrenees and the Albera mountains, to the Mediterranean wind and the smell of wine and oil alongside its passionate and committed creators. The visit includes a guided tour of the vineyards, the olive grove, the winery and breakfast overlooking the vineyards. The full experience includes:

NAUTICAL OUTING GETAWAY – THE LANDSCAPES OF THE COSTA BRAVA

Visiting the Hostal Empúries does not just mean getting to know our space, but also the surrounding areas—without which our presence would not be nearly as special. The authentically Mediterranean beauty of the Costa Brava is unrivalled, offering: landscapes, colours, light, history, future, resources… An avalanche of sensations.

The experience includes:

• A 1-night stay in a standard double room (“superior” rooms can be reserved for an extra charge)
• Dinner with a special menu 
• Breakfast buffet 
• A 3-hour outing on a boat, leaving from L’Estartit (the route taken will depend on the weather), towards Pals and Begur beaches or towards the Medes Islands and the coves in L’Estartit and L’Escala. Includes skipper, fuel, and auxiliary powered vessel.

The craft to be used is our own Arquera, an 11-metre motorboat (a Sealine 35 Sport) which combines technology and speed with design and comfort (see photos).

HIKING ROUTE GETAWAY – THE LANDSCAPES IN EMPORDÀ

Visiting the Hostal Empúries does not just mean getting to know our space, but also the surrounding areas—without which our presence would not be nearly as special. We want to ensure that our guests have the opportunity to get to know the Empordà and everything it offers: landscapes, colours, light, history, future, resources…

The experience includes:

• A 1-night stay in a standard double room (“superior” rooms can be reserved for an extra charge)
• Dinner with a special menu 
• Breakfast buffet 
• A gentle 2-3 hour hiking route following the coast, during which you will be able to enjoy magnificent views from the cliffs and rock formations which connect L’Escala and L’Estartit.
• Gift

The route includes a specialised guide, a map of the itinerary, a picnic, and insurance. The required materials are boots or athletic shoes, comfortable clothing, and water. The pick-up and end of the route will be at the Hostal Empúries.
